1. Reminder - the door locks are going to be changed on November 1 so if you haven’t yet paid your 2018 membership dues, you need to do so now. Legion dues are $41, Auxiliary and SAL dues are $25.
2. SAL Commander Ken Szal has a friend who is escorting WWII veteran Edward Adamczyk on the Buffalo Honor Flight to Washington DC to see the memorials. They are asking for cards of thanks to Mr. Adamczyk that will be given to him on the return flight home as part of their “mail call”. Please help by droppong off a card for Ed at the Post no later than Saturday, October 21st so Ken can get them to his friend in time for the Honor Flight. See the attached notice for more information.
3. The Auxiliary will be sending care packages to military servicemen and women in time for Christmas. If you know of someone in the military who will not be home for the holidays, please send me their mailing address by November 10th and we will send them a box of goodies.
