On Monday, September 10, our Honor Guard participated in the Opening Ceremony for the Tee it Up for the Troops event at the Wanakah Country Club. Though the golf portion of the event had to be canceled due to the weather, the event still featured a patriotic opening ceremony to honor all who have served in the military. The 21 Gun Salute was performed Post 880 Honor Guard.

I am always so proud to be a member of the American army. I am one of the troops who were at this event. I can always feel the confidence whenever I wear this uniform of mine. I feel happy and lucky that I am able to go and serve for our country. I will gladly give up my life for the safety of our nation, that is for sure. I hope that I can make you proud, my country.
